![]() ![]() Whether that means it is broken, oddly implemented, semi-dysfunctional, I couldn't say.Ĭhoose the elipsis set the topmost comboBox to "ImageChooser", the other choices being "Value from existing component", and "Custom Code", options presented to you will be: "Image Within Project", "External Image". It has been my experience that that dropdown works only after going through the elipsis(.) dialog. ![]() I also understand that maybe you can not get items into the dropdown because the feature was never finished, is broken, etc. I am trying find out how to use the dropdown list so pointing out that using custom code is not the help I am looking for. I suspect that somebody created a dropdown list to allow for easy selection of icons so you wouldn't need custom code. I understand that I can click on the "." button and choose custom code to get the icon set or do something simular after the initcomponent call in the constructor. I can not seem to figure out how to get items to appear in the dropdown list. The image of icon didn't show up in the dropdown list as I had hoped. Private ImageIcon image = new ImageIcon(.getResource("icon32x32.gif")) How do I get icons to appear in the dropdown list to allow for selection of one of them. When clicking the dropdown only the "" choice is available. The properties windows has a dropdown selector with "" selected. I am trying to populate the iconImage property from the design view of a JFrame. ![]()
